So, they now have a trailer for the Twilight movie, and I'm far too excited. It's just pretty vampires and it looks like it's actually going to be pretty faithful to the books, and yeah. *feels pathetic*

Sorry about generally being absent from the journals lately. My life's kind of interesting right now, and not all of it's good.
But... can anyone think of any reason why Regulus Black would be in the Half-Blood Prince movie? Because he is. Also, he's quite pretty.

I defended my thesis this afternoon, and the actual defense presentation/questions went well, but I didn't exactly pass or fail. I have to make a lot of corrections to my thesis before they'll pass it.

I'm doing a survey for my language and gender class, and I need victims volunteers. The survey measures the offensiveness of sexual terms to certain ages/sexes/sexual orientations, and their frequency of use.
Here is a YSI link to the survey, which is only two pages and won't take you more than three or four minutes to complete. Bold (or make them bright green, or italicise them, or something important) the answers which apply, and mail it to harvestblue [at] gmail [dot] com, and I will love you forever. And who knows? You might learn a new word.

Okay, so I just started working on a Lucius/Harry non con bdsm story that I think is going to be pretty cool, but I have a question. In the story, Lucius has basically taken over the wizarding world (Harry's 18) and is doing a damn good job of running it, despite still being a sadistic bastard and keeping Harry as his pet. Is this too cliche? Does it seem like it might work? I mean, I like it, but I want other people to read it. ^_^
I'll post a prologue as soon as I get my notebook and a computer in the same place.

Okay, so I'm thinking about writing in the Julian and Seb 'verse again. I've had this story plotted (with some help from a friend, who, for "religious reasons" no longer writes slash) since my sophomore year in high school, over four years ago. It's the original world and characters upon which Heaven Below is based. I started writing about the plot earlier, and I may actually write it this time if only to get it the hell out of my head. :)

My fic request has now been posted on gw_fic_exchange and I am thrilled to no end. It is wonderful!
Oh, and a fandom meme.
1) Total number of fandoms I like:
Primarily three: Harry Potter, Gundam Wing, and Weiss Kreuz. There's also Star Wars, DBZ, and Ronin Warriors sometimes, so I'm not sure.
2) My first fandom ever:
Gundam Wing. I found slash first ironically enough, but was an avid Heero/Relena fan until I fully realized the joy that is slash. That was about 5 years ago.
3) My most recent fandom:
Harry Potter, I guess, but I've been in it devoutly for a year now. Possibly Star Wars. *shudders* I so hope SW doesn't become an addiction.
4) Five fandoms that currently mean a lot to me :
Gundam Wing: This was my first fandom and my baby. I will always return to GW fanfiction, and I think I will always love it. I mean, if over 5 years later, I can still write and a fic and read new ones, that says something.
Harry Potter: This fandom has truly every aspect of what I really like in my fics. I think most of you already know what that is! *grins evilly*
Weiss Kreuz: This fandom has so much good stuff out there. You just have to know where to look. It makes me very happy.
I can' think of 2 more that really mean a lot to me, unless you count being crazy about Queer as Folk and Lost. yay!
